If you want to make I
want + verb more interesting, why not attack it from a different angle
with this song, which is the same structure and much more natural language.
You can ask your students who
they want to be like and what things about that person they want to do.
Ie: (not very original) I
want to be like Messi, I want to play football like him, I want to live in
Barcelona , I want to travel a lot, I want to be famous etc etc.
Or they choose someone like
the Pope if you want them to be more ethical !!!!
They can make a poster using a written text and a drawing of what they want or don't want to do.
