Watch this video of Pocoyo (start at 7.29secs until 13.54) and his friends and then make a monster with toilet rolls and a photocopy at www.bcnprimary.pbworks.com /pocoyo monster template.jpeg to colour in and stick on the toilet roll. Children put the finished monster on two fingers and then they can go round saying "Boo" to everyone !!!!

Lambs might not cope with the colouring in, but you can give them a chance and you will have to do the sticking.

1. Teach the children a mime for each emotion (see images at http://bcnprimary.pbworks.com/w/browse/#view=ViewFolder&param=Emotions )

2. Say the words and children reproduce the appropriate mime.

3. Make a set of cards using the images from the wiki. Make enough copies for each child to have one card each.

4. Give out the cards and go round asking each child "Are you happy?", "Are you sad '" until you guess which card they have. Encourage the children to answer with a Yes or No. Use the mimes as well as the question to help comprehension.
