LIONS - MAY 2015
FIRST - Present the situation
- a child goes to the shop with their mother/father or other relation
- the child wants the most expensive trainers/t-shirt/ or whatever
- the mother wants to buy the cheapest and ugliest
- the shop assistant wants to sell
Look at the cue cards below and elicit the language that would be used. Let the children suggest all possibilities .
Divide your class into groups of three. One person is the child, one the mother/father (or other adult) and the other the shop assistant. Give them ten minutes to practise. Let them just improvise.
If they want to they can show the class. Find some things to dress up a bit ( a cap, a scarf, an overall).
